The funeral services for Mrs. Clarence A. Brooks were held at the home on Wednesday afternoon, and, in spite of the inclement weather. the house was tilled to overflowing. Mrs. Brooks was a devoted, thoughtful and wonderfully sacrificing wife and mother; a Christian in the truest sense of the word, being ever ready with a smile and helping hand even though hampered by her physical ailments, of which she said nothing. She was ill for over a year, but no murmur escaped her to worry her loved ones at home, and her interest in church and other organizations never flagged. Mrs. Brooks's shroud was her wedding dress. The burial took place at Mt Rest Cemetery, Bergen. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved husband and four small children and Mrs. Brook's mother, Mrs. Welthy McKenzie
