Mary E. Wallace, 84, died at her home in Middletown after a short illness.
The widow of Charles E. Wallace, She was a member ofChestertown Council No. 58, Daughters of America.
She was survived by four daughters..Mrs Raymond H. Clark, Mrs. Walter G. Darrell Sr., Mrs. Henry W. Shockley, all of Wilmington, and Mrs. Jackson W. Lafferty of Middletown. nine grandchildren , 24 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
She was also survived by a brother , Charles Cole of Middletown, a sister Mrs. Joshua Springer of Baltimore and several nieces and nephews including Raymond A Walmsley of Elkton whom she raised.
Services were held 11 am Saturday from the Mears Funeral Home in Middletown with interment at Crumpton, MD
