Mary Arundell was the daughter of Sir John Arundell and Katharine Grenville.[4]
She married, firstly, Robert Radcliffe, 1st Earl of Sussex, son of John Radcliffe, 9th Lord FitzWalter and Margaret (?), on 14 January 1536/37.[1]
She married, secondly, Henry Fitzalan, 19th Earl of Arundel, son of William FitzAlan, 18th Earl of Arundel and Anne Percy, on 19 December 1545.[1]
She died on 20 October 1557 at Arundel House, The Strand, London, England.[1] She was buried on 28 October 1557 at St. Clement Danes Church, The Strand, London, England.[4] She was buried at Arundel Castle, Arundel, Sussex, England.[4]
As a result of her marriage, Mary Arundell was styled as Countess of Sussex on 14 January 1536/37. From 14 January 1536/37, her married name became Radcliffe.[1]
From 19 December 1545, her married name became Fitzalan.[1] As a result of her marriage, Mary Arundell was styled as Countess of Arundel on 19 December 1545.

Notes: Knight of the Garter. The Complete Peerage vol.XIIp1,p.517-520. Present at the sieges of Tournay and Therouenne. Lord Steward in the reign of Henry VIII, in reversion after George Talbot, 4° Earl of Shrewsbury, by letters patent 23 Jun 1537 (LP, xii(2), 191 (36); ibid. xiii(2), 5); apparently did not succeed. A powerful, ambitious and ruthless man. He was active in the spoilation of the Church.

' "d. 1691, daughter of Sir John Arundell of Lanherne, knithgt-banneret of Therouenne, and his second wife Catherine, daughter of Sir Thomas Grenville of Stow, was one of the learned ladies of her time, and is included in George Ballard's 'Celebrated British Ladies' (ed. 1775,p.85).""She married, first, Robert Radcliff, earl of Essex, and, secondly, Henry, seventeenth earl of Arundel. She is buried at the east end of the south aisle of Newlyn Church, Cornwall, in the vault of the Trerice Arundells; and, according to Davies Gilber (Parochial History of Cornwall), it was through her that the Trerice estates passed into the hands of their present possessor, Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, Bart."

P. 155. Funeral of the countess of Arundel. A full account of this funeral is preserved in the College of Arms, I. 15, ff. 266 et seq. The lady was previously countess of Sussex, and a letter written under that signature in 1537 has been published in Miss Wood's Letters of Royal and Illustrious Ladies, vol. ii. p. 306.' "This Mary, doter of sir John Arundell of the West [and widow of Robert earl of Sussex, who died in 1542,] departed this lyff on Wensday the 20. of October 1557, in the 4. and 5. yeres of king Phelyp and quene Mary in the said erl of Arundelles place in St. Clementes parishe called the Danes withowt temple barre in London, and was beryed the xxviij. of October next folowinge." (MS. Harl. 897, f. 79.) The same authority supplies the following record of the earl of Arundel's former wife: "The lady Kateren Maltravers, doter of the lord marquis Dorset, departed owt of this world the fyrst day of May in the xxiiijth. yere of H. 8, (1532,) and lyeth beryed at St. Bartylmewes the lyttell within sir Gyles Capell('s) chapell." "HENRY FITZALAN, twelfth Earl of Arundel (1511?-1580), born about 1511, was the only son of William Fitzalan, eleventh earl of Arundel, K.G., by his second wife, Lady Anne Percy, daughter of Henry Percy, fourth earl of Northumberland. "
"Arundel married secondly 'Mary, daughter of Sir John Arundell of Lanherne, Cornwall, and widow of Robert Ratcliffe, first earl of Sussex of that family, and K.G. She had no children by Arundel, and dying 21 Oct. 1557 at Arundel House, was buried 1 Sept. in the neighbouring church of St. Clement Danes, but was afterwards reinterred at Arundel.' Arundel thus died the last earl of his family."
