Born at Rye Field, the Walker plantation, she was the oldest child of Thomas Walker Sr. and Susanna Peachy Walker. She married May 13, 1732 in Williamsburg, VA., Dr. George Gilmer a Scottish physician & surgeon who came to America in 1730.(His 1st wife.) Survived by children Peachy Ridgway Gilmer & Dr. George Gilmer Jr. John Blair Gilmer was the son of Dr George Gilmer and his second wife, Harrison Blair.
