DEATH OF MRS. WOOLLEY.
The grim reaper has been at work amongst some of our best citizens during the past few weeks.
This morning the news came from Sydney that Mrs. Edwin Woolley had died. Mrs. Woolley had gone to the homes of her daughters Mesdames Ray Moggs and Geo Melbourne, in Sydney to recuperate.
The family here was buoyed by the news that Mrs. Woolley was gradually regaining her health; but early this morning a telegram was received saying that she was seriously ill, and a little after another telegram came stating that she had passed away in Prince Alfred Hospital. Deceased was a native of Mudgee, being a sister of Mr. William Holmes, of Lewis Street,
Like the late Mr. T. ]. Lovejoy, she had been a firm adherent of the Methodist Church. The body will be brought from Sydnev for interment in the Mudgee cemetery. Her late husband, Mr. Edwin Woolley, predeceased her by five years.
The following sons and daughters are left to mourn their loss: Mess's. Arthur and Horace. Burrundulla, Walter, Mudgee; Mesdames Ray Mogg and G. Melbourne, Sydney, G Thompson, Burrundulla, Misses Martha, Hariet, Marion, Muriel, Ada and Eileen, Mudgee.
The funeral will leave the Methodist Church to-morrow morning at 10.
