Mary Johnson

Mary Rummer, my Great Great Grandmother Married Joseph Mellor in 1880 in Fremantle and he passed away ? and in 1904 Mary married Charles Henry Johnson in 1904 at Fremantle. Mary was a Maternity Nurse at Royal Perth Hospital and the story is told that she would walk from Fremantle to Perh to deliver children. Further to this she was born in Guildford at the Stirling Arms hotel at the corner of Mangles and Meadow streets Guildford. Her Father WA Rummer held the lience in 1860 - 1868. This was the first hotel in Guildford and was first op[ened in 1852 and still is running as a hotel today. There is a photo of her with my Father Otto, Mary with Martin Jager standing in front of my Dad and he is holding me in his arms from this I would presume my mother is taking the photo.
