Carlisle Weekly Herald 4/24/1890 A Futal Fall at Ninety-Eight. Mrs. Polly McLaughlin, of Mt. Zion, this county, died on Tursday morning last aged 98 years. The funeral took place Friday afternoon; interment in Mt. Holly cemetery. Her death was caused by an accident which occurred about three weeks ago. The old lady attempted to carry a bucket of coal, and the fall which resulted in a broken limb was the cause of her death.
The Sentinel 3/25/1890 Mrs. Polly McLaughlin, an aged lady residing at Mt. Zion, near town, fell a few days ago, and broke one of her legs. The injury is very painful.
