Mary Magdalena Klein

Lena was born in Richardton, North Dakota on February 4th, 1913 to Valentine and Magdalena Hoerner. She grew up in Richardton with 15 brothers and sisters and went to school there on horseback.

In 1934 she married Tony Dauenhauer and in 1936 they moved to Spokane with son Russell (deceased). Lena was married for 58 years to Tony (deceased) and in 1997 married Hugh Klein (deceased).

Lena loved to bake cinnamon rolls and cookies, sewing, but most of all she loved to dance and play Pinochole and cribbage.

She is survived by three sisters, Ann Kelsey, Ida Jeffries and Claudia Helmer.

She is also survived by five daughters, Diane Kelly (Don), Arlene Wickholm, Marlene Nelson, Debra Kelly (Mike), Denise Kellett (Steve), 24 grand- children, 46 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Her joy was her family.
