Mary Lavender Bagley

Mary's real name is unclear. From her mother's Will, it's clear that Lucy Lavender is her mother. But Mary's name is reported in a number of variations, a few of which hint at a different name from an earlier marriage of either Mary or her mother Lucy.   • Note: Mary's daughter Jamima told her daughter Bannie that they both had a particular fact in common - they were both the 15th child of 15 children! In both cases, we only have records for about 11 to 12 of the children, so the missing ones must have died in childbirth or very young, too young to have made it into any of the family records.
