Williamsport Pioneer, p 1, Williamsport Indiana, July 5 1918 - Charlotte Lewis weds Roland Calvert:
Calvert-Lewis Wedding.
Roland C. Calvert, of the 34th Engineers stationed at Ft. Benj. Harrison at Indianapolis, and Miss Charlotte Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hamer Lewis of this place, were united in marriage Wednesday evening by the Rev. M.S. Haines of the First Presbyterian church of Indianapolis.
Following the ceremony an elaborate dinner was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Harry R. Brown, of that city. The home was beautiful with military decorating predominating. The bride wore a beautiful frock of white georgette crepe with hat to match.
Mrs. Blanche Lewis, a sister-in-law of the bride, acted as bride's maid. After the wedding dinner they departed at once for the Great Lakes, where they will spend a short honeymoon, prior to Mr. Calvert's departure for duty overseas.
