Daughter of James C. Manley and Captolia Martha Cross, who were married 07 June 1888 in Marshall County, Kentucky (KY Ancestry Marriage Records). Appears James Manley died between 1892-1896. A son, Phinas Manley was born in May 1893 (1900 census) and Captolia remarried in 1896.

Middle name of Adeline was listed on her daughter, Bertha's delayed AR birth certificate (Ancestry).

(2) Mary Henderson married Mat Lusk on 03 Sept 1906 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri. Both were residents of Supply, Randolph County, Arkansas. Mary was the mother of eight children. One died in infancy according to 1910 census, which states that Mary was the mother of 3, 2 living. Surviving children at time of her death were: Bertha Doloros/Doloros Bertha), John Calvin, Cora Edith, Ada Florence, Charles Franklin, Juanita LaVerne, and Morris Lynn.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. MAT. LUSK From Thursday's Daily
Funeral rites were conducted Monday morning for Mrs. Mat Lusk, who died at her home south of Naylor Saturday. The services were held at the Pentecostal church, with the Rev. G. A. Russell in charge.

Mrs. Lusk had been a member of the Pentecostal church for the past six years. She is survived by her husband and seven children.
