Margaret was apparently the first wife of James Richard Randolph, of Caswell County, North Carolina. She died around 1780, as James married Mary Dye, December 12, 1781, in Caswell County, North Carolina.

I do realize the farther back one goes the sketchier the facts. There are some who think Francis Bland (born 1832) was James Randolph's first wife. I am leaning more toward Margaret Smalley.
