Mary Cecilia Markiewicz

Mary was born in Newark, NJ in a house on 37 Lentz Ave.

She worked at Par electric where she meet Edward Markiewicz. John Glynn also worked at Par electric.

She moved to Sumter SC on 23 November 1943 after being married in order to be closer to Ed. On September 14, 1944 she moved back to 37 Lentz Ave. when Ed Markiewicz Jr. was born.

Near the end of her life, Mary moved to Oneonta, New York to be close to her daughter Mary. Her sister, Theresa, moved in with her for company. Mary had several heart attacks and had to wear an oxygen mask. Before she died, she was taken to the hospital (possibly because she sensed another heart attack) and later died of congestive heart failure.
