Mary Montagu, Duchess of Montagu

Lady Mary Churchill was born on 15 July 1689.3 She was the daughter of Sir John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough and Sarah Jenyns.1 She married John Montagu, 2nd Duke of Montagu, son of Ralph Montagu, 1st Duke of Montagu, on 17 March 1705.1,3 She died on 14 May 1751 at age 61.3

    As a result of her marriage, Lady Mary Churchill was styled as Duchess of Montagu.4 Her married name became Montagu.
