1644a Mary Judson /9, b. Orange, N. J., Sept. 3, 1874, m. Captain George Clarke Musgrave, son of Joseph and Sarah Ann (LeButte) Musgrave, of Folkestone, England, June i, 1900, in New York City; he was b. at Folkestone, England, May i, 1874. They resided at 124 Summit Ave., Svmimit, N. J. Captain Musgrave served in the English army, in the Ashanti Expedition, West Africa. He was invalided and after returning to England he went to Cuba, where he joined General Garcia, and was entrusted with dispatches to President McKinley, in Washington, D. C. He was intercepted in Havana, arrested and sentenced to death by the Spaniards, but was finally liberated, and later went to New York City. He is the author of several books, among them. Under Three Flags in Cuba, In South Africa with Butler, To Kumassi with Scott, Under Four Flags for France. He was Treasurer of John S. Lamson & Bro., 84 William St., New York, for many years. He is a member of the 7th Regiment, N. G. N. Y. Child: (i) Edwin Lamson, b. London, England, March 4, 1901. He is a student in the University of London (1917).
When Mary Judson Lamson was born on September 3, 1874, in Orange, New Jersey, her father, John, was 41, and her mother, Mary, was 37. She married George Clarke Musgrave on June 1, 1900, in New York City, New York. They had one child during their marriage. She died in 1948 in Southwater, Sussex, England, at the age of 74.
