Mary Ann, a daughter of Moses and Eve Williams Packer, was born about 1808 near Colerain, Belmont County, Ohio. The Packer family moved later to Richland County, Ohio. Moses Packer purchased in 1818 the southwest quarter of Section 36 in the county's Perry Township.
Mary Ann Packer and George Coon, Jr., were married on 25 Jun 1825 in Richland County. The couple had ten children.
