Mary Eveleigh Shubrick

Daugther of Thomas Shubrick and Sarah Katherine Motte. Her sister Elizabeth was the wife of Congressman Thomas Lynch. An Aunt was the celebrated Mrs. Rebecca Motte. [Submitted by P. Fazzini.]

Inscription: Sacred to the Memory of Mary Rutledge Widow of Edward Rutledge Who departed this life on the 22nd Octr 1837 in the 85th year of her age. She was most loved, where best known may her piety & her virtues be remembered, though her example can be no longer enjoyed.
