Mary Margaret Souther

Mary Margaret Fisher was born in Culpeper County, VA in 1750.

In 1772, she married Michael Souther in Culpeper County, VA.

The Garr Family Records have provided a list of the children born to Michael & Mary Margaret Souther. The children were born & grew up in Madison County, VA and their marriages are all recorded there.

1. Elizabeth Souther, b 12/2/1774 - d 10/24/1854, married Julius Cristler, 10 children.

2. Abraham Souther, b 8/8/1776 - d 9/10/1843, married Elizabeth Wilhoit, 9 children.

3. Anna Souther, b 9/27/1778 d 5/8/1853, married Absolom Cristler, 9 children.

4. Julia Souther, b 3/1782 d 2/28/1874, married Felix Garr, 8 children.

5. Mary Souther, b 10/13/1786 d 4/20/1883, married David Wilhoit, 7 children.

Mary Margaret Souther died in 1819 and even though there is a Cenotaph for her in the Fisher Family Cemetery in Boyle County, KY with her husband, it is believed by many that she is actually buried in Madison County, VA.
