Caleb Pendleton referred to John Randall, Jr. as his "brother in his will that

reads, in part.... "And I also leave all the rest of my stock and lands and

servants in the hands of my brother John Randall, Jr. of Stonington, in New

London County, for him to sell and dispose of to pay debts and legacies, who I

ordain my sole executor.
