�b�Mary Wallis Schultz �/b�1980 , New Zealand In a letter from Bridget Brosnan Wallis' daughter, Mary Wallis Schultz of Gore, New Zealand, 14 May 1980, to Paul Brosnihan: I married James Schultz who died in 1943. He was a painter & paperhanger. We had five daughters. Doris, Nora, Eileen, Joan & Pauline. Joan is living here with me. I brought up one of Ben's sons as his mother died when he was a few days old. He is now in Australia. He comes to see me every year. He is a Brother of St. John of God. Ben died several years ago & his other son is married with a grown up family. All my brothers are dead now. & a few years ago we had a visit from Nora & Mike Kelly & Kay & Leo Carey [?]. They are Aunty Katies [sic] daughters from America. It was lovely to meet them. If you ever see them they would be glad to see you & tell you about their visit to New Zealand. Mike Kelly died a few years ago as far as we know. Hope these few lines finds you well. �b�Bridget Brosnan - New Zealand �/b�In a letter from her daughter, Mary Wallis Schultz of Gore, New Zealand, 14 May 1980, to Paul Brosnihan: Dear Paul, I was very pleased to get & read of my grandmother's family. I am Mary Schultz, daughter of Bridget & Joseph Wallis. I am now 80 years old. My parents have been dead for years now. All I know of my mother coming here & not going to America is that she was bringing a girl here & intended going back to America but she must have changed her mind. She married Joseph Wallis a pastrycook and baker & they had five sons. Willie, Joseph, Ben, Thorley & Edward (Teddy) & two girls myself & a sister who died when she was an infant.
