Disputed Origins
From https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/46523194/marah_mary-webb
On 16 Dec 1686 when Samuel was 26, he married Mary Adams, daughter of Samuel Adams & Rebecca Graves, in Braintree, MA.Chelmsford, per Judd. Born on 8 Sep 1664 in Chelmsford, MA.Judd, citing Kenneth Vance Graves, "Rear Admiral Thomas Graves: 1637 Settler of Charlestown, Massachusetts and His Descendants," Wrentham, MA by the author, 1994. Mary died in Windham, CT, on 21 Dec 1744; she was 80.
Could another possibility be that Mary is daughter of Joseph Adams of Braintree and Abigail Baxter? According to "Pedigree of the Adams Family," by William Downing Bruce in NEHGS Register Jan 1853, Joseph's and Abigail's 7th child was Mary, b. 1667, m. 1st Samuel Webb, 2nd Samuel Bass. This was the family that later produced John and Samuel Adams. [Although this birthdate would not agree with the age on the tombstone.]
Other websites also say her parents are Joseph Adams and Abigail Baxter: http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~shopefamily/Tree/famf1...
