Based on the source The Reeve Family of Southold, an exhaustive study of the immigrants Thomas REEVE and Thomas REEVES, they are not related. The REEVE family were of Southold, Suffolk County, NY and the REEVES family settled in Southampton, Massachusetts. A Thomas REEVES from Southampton did appear in Southold records but he is not related to the REEVE family tree.

Mary ""Molly"" Reeves Webster Birth: 1617, England Death: June 3, 1698 Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts

Wife of William Webster, daughter of Thomas & Hannah (Rowe) Reeves of Springfield, MA. She was tried as a witch 1683 in Boston accused in Hadley, Hampshire County, MA. She was aquitted of the charges yet locals took it upon themselves to hang her anyway. They abused her and hung her naked in a tree cutting her down the next day and buried her in the snow. She was about 66 years old when this vicious attack occured, no charges were ever brought against those that did this. She survived this and lived eleven years more. A woman of true grit!
