June 1721, when his oldest s. styles hims. of L. vol. 4, p. 554 mariner, but, in 1723, mariner of Boston. JOSIAH, Wethersfield, oldest s. of major Simon, m. at Concord, 20 Mar. 1657, Hannah, d. of Thomas Hosmer of Hartford, had Samuel, b. 1 Sept. 1658; and Josiah, 13 Mar. 1660; both at Hartford, where he was then sch.-master, and so was after empl. at W. where he prob. had Dorothy; Simon; Stephen; Thomas; John; and Hannah; was freem. 1665, bec. a trader, and d. 1674, when his est. was insolv.
