"With regard to the marriage with the niece, all of my records indicate that that is correct – but the last time I touched that link was in 2000 – according to my noted the information was from the Baptismal and marriage register of the Old Dutch Church. I will take a look at the actual records again. You will also note that the two families – van Aken, Terpenning - intermarried regularly and that there are several other familes that keep cropping up – Kuykendall, Decker, Kool – and several cases where Terpennings married Terpennings."
