Matilda Josephine Burrill

This is from Grandma's favorite grandson, Don Maresh......Back when I was quite young.....whenever GI Joes were getting popular I wanted one for Christmas....my dad said no.....didn't want me playing with dolls. My mom thought it was ok and knew it was just for my adventurous spirit. Mom told Grandma and boy was I surprised when opening presents at Christmas....my GI Joe......had lots of fun building forts for him and bombing him with dirt clods.....after I was tired of him I repeatedly tried to see how far I could hit him with my baseball bat till.....look ma!.....not arms....no legs. Sorry dad.....I think I'm still quite masculine.....thanks Grandma.
