Maurice Samuel Finkle

FINKLE, MAURICE (MOE) SAMUEL, born in Philadelphia, PA, July 8th, 1916, passed away November 27th, 2009. Son of Sophie and Capel Finkle, Maurice was one of five children: deceased, Jack, Jules, Arthur and is survived by his one sister Evelyn Zlotnick, 101, who resides in Philadelphia. Maurice was a devoted husband of 72 years to Gertrude Finkle, nee Kenin, who passed away April 13, 2009. He is survived by his loving children, Marilyn and Harry Chesnick, Paula and Mickey Finkle; adoring grandchildren, Andrew and Mathy Chesnick, Barrie and John Overend, Lauren and David Chesnick, Kenny Finkle, Debbie and Danny Finkle; beloved great grandchildren, Addie and Nathan Overend, Ali and Sara Chesnick, Daria and Nicolas Chesnick, Kyla and Jordan Finkle. Dad cherished his family above all else. Moe Finkle was in the metal manufacturing business during his active working years in Philadelphia as a Principle of Philmont Pressed Steel, and Foxcraft Products. Along with his brothers, they developed these businesses and eventually sold the companies to Gulf+Western Industries. Shortly after moving to South Florida to retire, he became involved with Terry Stiles. Over the next 38 years, Moe was instrumental in the growth and development of Stiles Corp as Terry Stiles' business partner, mentor and friend. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 1st at 11 am at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Doral, FL.
