Maximillian (Miksa) Paul Schiff

Born on July 6, 1860 and deported to Theresienstadt on September 10, 1942. No further information known after that date, though one must assume that he was probably deported to a camp further east where he eventually succumbed to the harsh regime (after all, he was over 80 years of age by that time) or was exterminated in one way or the other. I would think that the year 1943 is the most likely year of his death, as it was with most people deported in the year 1942.

His last address in Vienna is given as: Wien 2, Komoediengasse 6/16 i.e. house number 6, flat 16.

He is mentioned in "Totenbuch Theresienstadt - Deportierte aus Oesterreich".
