May Nelson, Anderson

May (Anderson) Nelson is the daughter of Gabriel Anderson and Mary ( unknown ) Anderson of West Virginia, USA.
May was disowned for marrying a, "Dane" aka Danish man by her father Gab Anderson. At the time, this was viewed as marrying a undesirable immigrant. She never heard from her family again. Later her son Christian H Nelson drove to WV to find his living ancestors, aunts, cousins etc.
He learned this was in fact true. He was received with open arms. Christian JR was shown photos of his family of origin on his mother's side.
None of them knew much about his father due to his mom being disowned. He died without ever knowing his father's name who had passed when he was age 7. May ( his mother ) had passed prior to his father from TB.

When tracing his family tree. Found his father's name was Christian Nelson Sr. He was named after his father.
