Melville Burgoyne Robertson Gordon

Per Bruce Gordon: This is my paternal great grandfather. He and his wife separated sometime in the 1910s. She returned home with the kids and he stayed in Northern Ontario managing a mine. Family lore is that he later married his secretary and some evidence supports this but no proof as of yet. He is last found in the late 50s living in Montreal a few miles from where my parents lived at the time. My father knew his grandfather was in the area but his father refused to put them in touch.

Melville Burgoyne Robertson Gordon: born Sunday, 23 November 1873. He is a mining engineer, and is at present manager of several mines in Cobalt, Ontario. He married on Tuesday, 22 June 1897, Jane Elizabeth Kennedy, daughter of the late John Kennedy, of Braeside, Dixie, Ontario. He has two children: —

1. Melville Burgoyne Kennedy Gordon: born Thursday, 7 September 1905.
2. Mary Emmeline Gordon: born Wednesday, 16 September 1908.
