Michael Gorman

"Wish to contact descendants of a Michael Gorman and his wife Bridget Powers who emigrated from Canada to East Grand Forks area probably around 1890. Michael born in 1855 in Ottawa died in 1909, his wife died in 1928. Children included Margaret 1878-1925, married an unk NOYES, had sons Jerome, Walter and Arnold; William 1880-1947; Fred 1882-1949; Frank 1882-1960 married Minnie JEFFERIES, had children Eileen, Ethel Mae, Patricia, Michael Kenneth; Catherine 1885-1885; Bertha Mary 1887-1933 married Arthur Joseph MERO had one daughter LaVerne; Ethel May 1889-1962 married George T. EGAN; John 1892-1962; James Joseph 1892-1929 married Rosaline KUPPER, one son James Joseph JR; Patrick 1893-?; Ernest 1894-1895; Ida 1896-? married Henry WEBSTEAD, one son Robert. The older children were reportedly born in Prescott, Ontario, the younger ones in/near East Grand Forks. It is said that Michael GORMAN was a carpenter and had a cabinet shop in East Grand Forks that was kept on after his death by his son Frank. As of 1974, the cabinet shop was reportedly under the direction of Frank's son Kenny."
