Most of the info on this line comes from "the family tree - Michel and Wesselena KUPER" 1839-1963. Possibly some typos in it.In 1887, came to the US with their 5 children, settling in Lennox, SD. Bought 80 acres of land 8 miles south and 1 mile east of Lennox, SD. After farming for 20 years, they then retired moving to Lennox, where they bought a home and spent their last years together. His hobby was raising a large garden, mostly potatoes and cabbage and then selling it to the stores. Later he planted some alfalfa, cutting it by hand with a scythe and cradle, piled it up, then put it in the barn, selling it later.Even though he did this by hand, he enjoyed his work. His wife, Wesselena, passed away Dec 24, 1915. He then lived alone until the fall of 1928, when he went to live with a daughter, Geescke (Geska) Bruns, Kluin, Sr. He passed away at her home on May 19, 1929.
