About Mihkel Palkman

Was born in Curçı (pronounced as džurtši/tourtje) village, which was 1st Estonian village in Crimea. Crimea belonged to Russia at the time. Currently the place is known as Pervomaisk, Ukraine.

Came to America April 12, 1903 and settled in South Dakota for a short time and then went to Canada.

Became a US citizen and was naturalized in Montana. Recorded in Volume 4, No 783 on March 14, 1916. Through this papers, Lena, Emily, Albert and Waldemar became US citizens. The other children were born in the US.
