Mildred Spaetzel

HARBACH, Mildred Darlene - Peacefully, with her family by her side, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Grant Harbach (2002). Cherished mother of Kim (Bruce), Steven (Cathy), Michael (Rose), Charlene (Steve) and Tracy (Tom). Will be missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mildred was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her father, Isiaha Spaetzel and mother, Elmina Eby; brothers, Earl, Harold, Grant and Donald; sisters, Helen, Dorothy and Evelyn. At Mildred's request, cremation has taken place. Mildred's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467, from 12-12:45 p.m. followed by a memorial service to celebrate Mildred's life in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
