Milo Del Rosario Arends

Milo Arends started first working with his brother Dr. Jacobo Rudolf Arends when he was a physician in Bonaire. Later on when he returned to Aruba e began working at the Arend refinary in Eagle. After his wedding with B.G Fortunata Arends, He was working at the Lago Oil company as a store room supervisor for the building materials as the boom of building in Seroe Colorado was happening. Mama recounted how he used to go to work and the Germans were bombarding the refinary during the war. He later on went to work back at the Arend Refinary. After that he went to work with his brother in law Mario S. Arends and was in charge of the Lumber Yard and hardware store in Dakota where currenlty the Dakota Shopping Paradise is located. He worked there for over 25 years and worked with Bubu and Jenny Arends during those years.

In 1969 he started his gas station in Ponton and with his children he ran the business. After the closure of Mario S. Arends Lumberyard in Dakota he opened up his own hardware store in Santa Helena and this is were currently Milo's Building supplies is located Nowadays.
