Miriam was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts in the year 1720 to Robert Hoit and Mary Currier. She married Richard Hazzen/Hazen 23 October 1744 in Haverhill; he died 20 April 1753; and she married as Mrs Miriam Hazzen to Capt. John White on 18 October 1753. She died in her 45th year on 9 April 1765 in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
