Moses Mauthner appears in "Other Hungarian Censuses" via JewishGen.org (must be a member to access) living in Köpcseny (=Kittsee) in the years:

• 1842 (with Wife, 1 son, 4 daughters, 1 Jewish servant )
• 1844 (with wife, 1 son, 4 daughters, 1 Jewish servant)
• 1846 (with wife, 1 son, 3 daughters). The number of daughters does not match with his eventual 5 daughters, but the "1 son" does.

Neue Freie Presse death notice for Moses Mauthner, d. March 24, 1871, Wien, was published March 24, 1871. He was age 63, and was Lederhandler aus Kittsee in Ungarn per Austria, Vienna, Jewish Registers of Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1784-1911, Wien (alle Bezirke), Sterbebuch 1871-1874 Feb., image 32 of 308 (Record No. 421).

At time of death, Moses Mauthner lived in Wien II Bezirk (Leopoldstadt), Gross Mohrengasse 28; he was buried at Währing, Section: WF Group: 6252 Row: 19 Grave: 50
