"Moses Wiley was one of a group objecting to the [Billingsgate] minister in 1724. Moses Wiley and Thankful, his wife, both of Eastham, gave a receipt 6 April 1742 in connection with the estate of her father Benjamin Young. Moses Wiley, perh. this man or his son, was listed in Wellfleet taxation recs. of 1762. A Moses Wiley also served on the Wellfleet Committee of Correspondence in 1777. Listed together at Wellfleet in the 1790 census are Moses, Nathaniel, Elisha and Benjamin Wiley.

No probate recs. for Moses or Thankful Wiley have been found in Barnstable Co. The following are suggested as children, since no other Wiley family was known to be res. in Eastham during that period."
