Mozes Wurms was a son of Abraham Wurms and Femmetje Verdoner. He married 23 August 1916 in Amsterdam to Eva Visser, daughther of Meijer Visser and Keetje Vieijra. She passed away however on 13 May 1933. His siblings were Branca, Juda, Barend, Meijer and Hartog. His twinbrothers Joseph and Hijman have died as babies and also his brother Philip passed away before the war. Mozes remarried on 3 April 1935 to Dina Benvenida Meljado, from whom he divorced on 8 June 1939. Since then Mozes lived again at his father's address. Mozes Wurms and Eva Visser had one daughter, Keetje, who lived since the divorce of her father in 1939 in the family of Hijman Vleesdrager, who was married to Anna Wurms, a sister of her father Mozes.
