Myles James UTTLEY UTTLEY, Myles James - Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Mitchell). Dear father of Brian of Cambridge and Jo-Anne Stuart and her husband Craig of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jacquelyn. Survived by one brother, Ross Uttley and his wife Jay of London and two sisters, Goldie Gilmore and Edith Strader and her husband Edgar, all of Dundas. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Bertha Uttley; one son, David, at the age of four years; one brother, Cecil and two sisters, Pauline Mundy and Hazel McEwen. Mr. Uttley was born in Zurich, Ont. and moved to Cambridge in 1975 when he retired from the Peacetime Service of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, the Merry Songsters of Rockway and was a very active sax player in various groups. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Friday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, 3849 King St. E., Kitchener on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. with pastor Richard Kopanke officiating. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Golden Years Nursing Home, Residence Fund would be appreciated by the family.
