Mysie, known as Mercedes, second child of Duncan Livingston and Isabella Milne, was baptized at Saint Andrews Scots Presbyterian Church, City of Buenos Aires, Argentina by Reverend August Ludwig Siegel.

In the year 1869, she was counted aged 19, single, in a census for Division 14th, City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, living at 50 Garay street, with her mother, Isabella Livingston, nee Milne (44), widowed, her grandmother Mary Ann Mc Clymont, nee Henderson, formerly Milne, (66), Scottish, widowed and her siblings: Mary Ann/Mariana (21), John Duncan/Juan (17) and Alejandro (14), the three of them single.

She died aged 65 and her grave is shared by her parents and further relatives.

Her siblings were: Mary Ann/Mariana, John Duncan/Juan and Alexander/Alejandro
