'Welsh Genealogies 1400-1599' volume 3 page 643 footnote 1 states: "So J* 318, Carms 81, but NN f. Francis, Duke of Burgundy by Catrin f. Thomas [Arch-]Bishop of Canterbury (LD i 189), NN f. Duke of Burgundy (LD i 98), NN f. Arglwydd Rron (LD ii 26)."
Dwnn's 'Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 189 calls her daughter of Francis, Duke of Burgundy by Catrin, daughter of Thomas, Arch-Bishop of Canterbury [merch Ffranssus, Duke of Byrgwyn o Katrin v Tomas Esgob Kanterbri.] Footnote 2 states: "This Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury, was Thomas Arundel, who was translated from York to the see in 1396, by Papal Provision. In the second year of his translation, he was condemned for high treason to Richard II, and obliged to fly the kingdom; but two years after was restored by Henry IV. It must have been during this flight that the intercourse of the Duke of Burgundy and his daughter took place; for, had not the issue been spurious, the match with Thomas ap Gruffydd would have been considered a degradation. The Duke of Burgundy must have been John "the Bold", who had several mistresses, for there is no Francis." Page 89 calls her daughter of the Duke of Burgundy. 'Dwnn, Heraldic Visitations of Wales' volume 1 page 98 calls her a daughter of the Duke of Burgundy.
Evan's 'British Genealogist' book 1 page 46 has her as the daughter to John "the Bold", Duke of Burgundy, page 6a calls her Elizabeth, one of the four illegitimate daughters of Philip "the Good", Duke of Burgundy, then states underneath that Elizabeth was the daughter to James, 2nd son of Philip, the Duke. Page 155 gives the following notation: "Elizabeth daughter to James de Burgoigne second son to Philip, Duke of Burgundy, Brabant, and Earl of Flanders by the Pope's Dispensation, his first wife then living. Thus Mr. Edwards out of Mr. Lloyd of Vairdre's books and others, and that her mother was Catherine daughter to Thomas, Lord Caterby and likewise that Margaret another daughter to James de Burgoigne, came into England with Queen Catherine, wife to Henry the V and married Sir Hugh Lutterel of Dunster Castle in Devonshire, Knight, ..... As others she was daughter to Edward de Langley, a French nobleman. Book 2 pages B11 and B23 call her Elizabeth daughter of James (2nd son of Philip, Duke of Burgundy) by Catherine daughter of Thomas Arundel, Archbishop of Canterbury.

Evans' 'British Genealogist' book 8 page H66 calls her "Margaret, sister to Elizabeth of Burgundy, Thos ap Nicholas secd consort, was maid of hnour to Queen Catherine, widow of Henry V, King of England, and she md Sir Hugh Luttrell, knt. of Dunster Castle".

'Golden Grove MS' book 2 page 139 and book 20 page 101 [Carms 81] calls her Frances daughter of Edward Langley of France. Book 2 page A139 and book 20 page 92 calls her Elizabeth daughter of James de Burgoine, 2nd son to Philip, Duke of Burgundy, Brabant, and Earl of Flanders by the Pope's dispensation his 1st wife living. Her mother Catherine daughter of Thomas, Lord of Caterly [Engl 136]. But others calls her the daughter of Edward de Langley, a French nobleman. Margaret another daughter of James de Burgoine came into England with Queen Catherine, wife to Henry VIII, and married Sir Hugh Luttrell, Knight, of Dunster Castle in Devonshire. [Thus Mr. Edwardes out of Mr. Lloyd of Vairdres book and others].
Buckley's 'Genealogies of the Carmarthenshire Sheriffs from 1539-1913' pages 3 and 6 call her Elizabeth daughter of Francis, 3rd son of Philip, Duke of Burgundy, [by a daughter of Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury (p.6)], and married by dispensation of the Pope because his first wife as still alive.
