The name of the father of Boniface Peake is unknown.[1] All that is really known of this unknown Peake is that which is inferred from the will of his wife Mabel.

He married Mabel Unknown around 1569. This date is a very rough estimate based on the estimated birth date of their son Boniface Peake. His estimated birth date of 1570 is based solely on his marriage in 1595. She was previously married to Edmund Hunt who died between February and May 1561. It is possible that they were married anytime between 1561 and 1571.

The will of Mabel (Unknown, Hunt) Peake names two children. John Hunt was a son by her first husband, and Boniface Peake by her second husband. Another son Edward Hunt is known from the will of her first husband; it is likely that Edward was the father of granddaughter Elizabeth Hunt who was also named in Mabel's will.

He was dead by 2 January 1593/4 when his wife Mabel made her will.[1] She was specifically called a widow in her will.
