The mother of Håkon Toresfostre by tradition unknown. Many have however defined his foster-sister Ragnhild Toresdatter Steig as his mother which is not unlikely since the tradition when taking a foster child it is very often a born out of wedlock grandchild. We keep her however unconnected since we don't have any sources on this.

The mother of Sveinke Steinarsson's wife is only known as a "frilledatter" of king Håkon Magnusson Toresfostre.
