OBITUARY: Boonville, Indiana Enquirer - June 15, 1900:
Hunsaker - Nancy, daughter of Elijah and Malinda Boyd, was born in Virginia, about 60 miles southwest from Richmond on November 14, 1803.
She was the eldest of a family of fourteen children; only one, Mrs. Minerva Bennett, of Rockport, Ind., survives her.
She came to Warrick county when but a girl. On December 27, 1819, she was married to Joseph Hunsaker who died March 25, 1863.
Their license was the second marriage license issued in Warrick county. The fruit of this union has been thirteen children, forty-nine grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren of whom five children; four sons, Jefferson, James, Matthew and Andrew, and one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Logsdon, with 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren survive to mourn their loss.
For seventy five years she has lived on the same farm.
She united with New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian church at its organization August 10, 1825.
She died June 9, 1900, aged 96 years, 6 months and 25 days.
