The remains of Napolean Desh, a prominent citizen of Jonestown, were interred in the cemetery at that place on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Desh was prominently connected with the building of the South Mountain railroad originally, was some years ago extensively engaged in the shoe business and a director of the Lebanon Fire Insurance Company of Jonestown. He was one of the best fifers the county possessed and was connected with all the military companies of that neighborhood. Company G, of Pinegrove, under the command of Lieutenant William Harvey attended the funeral and buried him with military honors. Jeff Huber, David Huber, Hezekiah Bretz and Ed. Sarge of the company acted as pall bearers. Rev. Markley officiated at the obsequies. Lebanon Times, 19th inst.
