Nathaniel Stowe

Nathaniel Stowe, Jr., son of Nathaniel Stow, Sr. (1621 - 1684), and Martha Metcalf (1628 - 1717), was born in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachussetts, on 18 September 1663. He married Ruth Merriam (1670 - 1718) on 3 December 1690, when he was 27 years old and she was 20. Ruth and Nathaniel lived in Concord and had twelve children there. Following Ruth's death in 1718 at the early age of 48, Nathaniel married Lydia, widow of Timothy Wheeler, on 21 April 1720. Nathaniel died 12 November 1724 in Concord, aged 62 years. Nathaniel and Ruth are both buried in Old Hill Burying Ground, Concord, Massachusetts, United States.
