Surviving thc first marriage arc onc son, Norman L. Higginbotham, Washington, and onc daughter. Evelyn, wife of Roland Kemp, Ft. Myer, Fla. In July of 1955 she was married to William Powell, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, John Phillips and Shirl Phillips ot Washington and onc sister, Mrs. Scott McDonald. Five grandchildren also survive. Three brothers, Oliver, Ross and Loren are deceased.
