NELLIE ALENA LARGENT
Nellie Alena Largent, 82, of Hillside Convalescent Center, 233 University Ave., died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at McLaren's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery.
Mrs. Largent, a homemaker, was born in West Des Moines and lived in the Des Moines area all her life.
She is survived by a daughter, Edna Wiley of Newhall; a son, Dean of Des Moines; a sister, Helen Hart of Winterset; a brother, Emrey Loose of Waukee; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.
