Nellie Margaret Sullivan

Nellie Margaret Sullivan, of New Harmony Community in Bledsoe County, died Thursday, March 25, 1999, in a local nursing home. She was 103.

Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the Methodist Faith and a former Sunday School teacher at New Harmony Baptist Church for many years. She was a lifelong resident of New Harmony. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Sullivan, and two sons, John and Jesse Sullivan.

Survivors include two sons, James T. Sullivan of New Harmony and Fred Sullivan of Palm Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Margaret Ritchey and Mary Revis, both of New Harmony, and Martha Musgrave of Soddy-Daisy; and 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 28, at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Wilkey officiating. Burial was in Rigsby Cemetery. Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton was in charge of the arrangements.
