Nicholas Harrisman

Nicholas Harrisman was born in approximately 1838 in Bavaria, Germany. He came to the USA in approximately 1864 when he was 25 or 26.

1870 USA Census showed Nick Harrisman was 32 at the time of the census with Priscilla (Cece) , then 23, keeping house and children Elizabeth, 3, and Nicholas 6 months. Ten years later, in 1880, the census showed Nick Harrison was 45, Priscilla (Cece) was 30, Elizabeth (Lizzie) was 13, Nicholas (Nick) was 10, John was 5, Joseph (Joe) was 2 and Michael was 4 months old.

NIcholas was reported to have been killed when a river boat sank in the Ohio River somewhere between New Orleans, LA and Louisville, KY in the year 1879.
